A driver is accused of intentionally ramming an Ohio police cruiser multiple times following a previous crash over the weekend, and the incident was captured on an officer's body camera.

Two Columbus police officer were responding to a call at about 8:30 p.m. Sunday when they saw a crash blocking part of the roadway, WBNS-TV reports. At the crash scene, police told a driver in the crash—later identified as Relosse Delievre—to moves his functioning vehicle to a nearby service station.

Instead, Delievre allegedly followed the officers and rear-ended their cruiser. He struck the vehicle multiple times and even attempted a PIT maneuver before slamming into the front driver's side of the patrol SUV.

Footage from an officer's body camera captured the impact as the cruiser was struck. It also showed both officers stopping and exiting their vehicle to confront Delievre.

When officers reached the smoking car, they found Delievre trapped inside. Delievre was able to escape his vehicle through the passenger window, and he was taken to the hospital.

During an interview at the hospital, Delievre allegedly told investigators he had intentionally rammed the police cruiser. He was arrested following his release from the hospital, and he faces two counts of felonious assault.
