A stolen handgun was recovered during a chase between Seattle Police Department bicycle officers and a suspected drug dealer Dec. 15.
During the pursuit, the suspect dropped a stolen handgun and kept running. The officers eventually went after the suspect on foot through the bus tunnel and a back stairwell, where the chase ended.
"There, the suspect, in a move reminiscent of Looney Tunes, attempted to bamboozle the officers by taking a seat on the stairs and directing them upward. The officers were not fooled," the department stated.
The suspect was arrested and faces gun and drug charges.
