Watch Md. Police Officers Save Unconscious Driver from Fiery Crash

A Montgomery County police sergeant and an officer were headed home after an evening shift when they spotted a burning vehicle with the driver still trapped inside.
Body camera footage was recently released showing two Maryland police officers rescuing a trapped unconscious driver from a fiery crash.
The incident happened just before 1:30 a.m. Friday in Montgomery County after a single-vehicle crash ignited a fire in the engine, which spread to a nearby bush, WTTG-TV reports. A Montgomery County police sergeant and officer were on their way home after an evening shift when they spotted the burning vehicle.
The sergeant used a flashlight to shatter a window and then pulled the driver to safety. At the same time, the officer grabbed a fire extinguisher to put out the flames.
The driver was taken to the hospital, and the police officers were not injured.
