Four Bridgeport are being praised for rushing to save an unresponsive man in a burning car before it was engulfed in flames over the weekend.
A bystander recorded the incident that happened at about 10 p.m. Saturday in Bridgeport after a car crashed into an SUV, News 12 Connecticut reports. When police reached the scene, they found the driver unresponsive and trapped inside his vehicle, which had caught fire.
The four officers quickly pulled the driver from the car and carried him to safety. The man was taken to the hospital, and no other injuries were reported.
