  • Two bystanders were seriously injured when a fleeing suspect in a high-speed chase flipped and struck their vehicle after an Arkansas State Police trooper executed a PIT maneuver.

Drone, body and dashboard camera footage captured a driver accused of doing burnout donuts crashing into multiple vehicles as he fled Oklahoma police earlier this month before his car rolled over in a home's front yard. 

The pursuit happened shortly before 5 p.m. Aug. 8 when Oklahoma City police spotted a red Dodge Challenger doing burnout donuts in a neighborhood, KOKH-TV reports. When officers tried to stop the vehilce, the driver, later identified as Jaramy Yeats, slowed down to drop off a female passenger and then sped away at over 60 mph.

Yeats collided with two vehicles atter blowing through two stop signs. His vehicle then skidded across three residential front yards before finally flipping over.

Police arrested Yeats, and he was charged with eluding police officer, reckless driving and other counts. He also was wanted on three felony warrants.
