Video: Fleeing Suspect in Skid Loader Lifts Ohio Deputy into Air

Body camera footage captured two Miami County sheriff's deputies as they confronted and chased after a suspect who drove off in a skid loader.

A suspect fleeing Ohio deputies in a skid loader last week, lifting one of the deputies off the ground with it.

The incident happened Jan. 11, as Miami County sheriff's deputies confronted a man in a skid loader as the suspect drove across the field, WHIO-TV reports. The deputies chase after the suspect on foot and order the man to stop the piece of heavy equipment, but he doesn't obey.

When one of the deputies jumps on the skid loader, the suspect lifts the law officer into the air. During the foot chase, one of the deputies is seen pursuing with his gun drawn

Finally, the suspect crashed into a nearby pond before fleeing on foot.

The suspect was currently at large, and a warrant was issued for his arrest.
