Watch Phoenix Police Help Civilians after Shots Fired

Body camera footage released by the Phoenix Police Department shows officers shielding and getting civilians to safety when they heard nearby gunshots fired in their direction.
Phoenix police released dramatic body camera footage that captured officers helping civilians after shots were fired in their direction during a traffic stop over the weekend.
The incident happened at about 6:45 a.m. Saturday in west Phoenix, KPHO-TV reports. While officers were conducting a traffic stop, they heard gunshots that they thought were being fired toward them.
A bodycam video shows the officers trying to shield citizens and get them to safety.
"Everybody get down! Everybody get down!" one officer is heard saying in the video.
No one was injured in the incident. A search of the area found no suspects.
