Atlanta police saved a 2-year-old girl from a stolen vehicle last week, and the rescue was captured on body camera footage.

Officers responded to a report of a vehicle theft and kidnapping shortly after 4:30 p.m. Thursday, the police department stated in a social media post. According to police, the vehilce had been left running with a 2-year-old child inside before it was swiped.

Using license plate readers across the city, officers located the vehicle in less than 15 minutes. A suspect was taken into custody, and the girl was found unharmed and reunited with her parents.

The suspect was arrested and faces multiple charges, including kidnapping and criminal attempt to commit a felony.
