Oklahoma City Police Release Body Camera Video of Fatal Officer-Involved Shooting

The Oklahoma City Police Department has released body camera video of a fatal officer-involved shooting from January.

OKLAHOMA CITY -- The Oklahoma City Police Department has released body camera video of a fatal officer-involved shooting from January.

Officers were searching for a suspect connected to an Amber Alert when they spotted a man carrying a knife, according to KFOR-TV.

They confronted the man, identified as Samuel Lantham, and told him to drop the knife. After the man refused, he was shot at with bean bag rounds and a Tazer.

"Bean bag, bean bag! Put it down, drop the knife, drop the knife, put it down," an officer is heard saying in the video.

Officers can be seen in the video firing several bean bag rounds at Lanham before they used deadly force..

Lanham later died at a local hospital.

The officers involved in the shooting have since been cleared and are back on duty.
