MARYLAND-Master Officer Christine Peters succumbed to injuries sustained 12 days ago. While assisting officers from the United States Park Police with a crash scene on foot, Peters was struck by a passing vehicle and was airlifted to the hospital. The incident remains under investigation at this time.
She served 22 years with the Greenbelt Police Department and served with the University of Maryland Police Department before that. During her service Peters was recognized for her community work and her outstanding service.

Hilary Rodela
Hilary Rodela is currently a Surveillance Officer, a former Private Investigator, a former Crime Scene Investigator, and Evidence Technician. She worked for the Ruidoso (NM) Police Department as well as the Lubbock (TX) Police Department.
