A shooting suspect evaded Colorado police Tuesday by racing across a railroad crossing moments before a train comes speeding through.
The chase between the 34-year-old man and Greeley police was captured by a security camera, KUSA-TV reports. The suspect was fleeing officers after he allegedly shot and wounded a man and threatened several people.
Despite giving the police the slip with his dangerous driving, the man was later apprehended by police. He has an extensive criminal history and had pleaded guilty to robbery, felony menacing, and theft charges previously, receiving a 20-year sentence.
No one was injured by the suspect's reckless maneuver.
