Two teens in a stolen vehicle soared over an overpass bridge and crashed while trying to escape the Minnesota State Patrol last week.
The chase happened at about 7 a.m. when a Minnesota State Patrol trooper spotted a stolen Kia speeding on Interstate 94 in Minneapolis, WCCO-TV reports. When the trooper tried to stop the vehicle, the driver kept going and exited the interstate.
During the pursuit, the stolen vehicle got back on the interstate and then barreled over the side of an overpass bridge and crashed below. The two teens escaped the car and began fleeing on foot before police apprehended them.
The teens were injured, but they weren't considered life-threatening. The driver was 14 years old, and the passenger was 15.
