Woman Dies after Rear-Ending Fla. Police Cruiser at Traffic Stop

Florida Highway Patrol officers were conducting a traffic stop in Tarpon Springs when a woman crashed into the back of one of the agency's vehicles.
A driver was killed after she rear-ended a Florida Highway Patrol cruiser early Tuesday.
The crash happened at around 2:15 a.m. as FHP officers were conducting a traffic stop along U.S. 19 in Tarpon Springs, WFLA-TV reports. That's when a woman driving a 2010 Hyundai Accent crashed into the back of one of the highway patrol's vehicles.
The woman was seriously injured in the crash, and she was rushed to the hospital, where she was pronounced dead. No officers were inside the FHP vehicle that was struck.
