Video: Driver Intentionally Rams California Patrol Car at Station

A Tulare police sergeant was sitting in his cruiser when a driver who admitted to being high on methamphetamine slammed into his vehicle on purpose.
A driver intentionally rammed a patrol car outside of a California police station last week.
The incident happened at around 8:15 p.m. Aug. 15 at the Tulare Police Department's headquarters, KGET-TV reports. A police sergeant was in his cruiser when another car sped up and slammed into the patrol car.
Surveillance video captured the crash, and after the impact, the driver can be seen exiting the car before reaching back in for something. The officer then drew his weapon, and the driver and car passenger surrendered.
According to police, the driver confessed to being high on methamphetamine and had crashed into the cruiser on purpose. He was charged with assault with a deadly weapon on a police officer.
