An Ohio police officer was able to get out of the way of an out-of-control car that slammed into his cruiser during a traffic stop Friday.
The crash happened just before 9:30 a.m. along U.S. 422 in Solon, WEWS-TV reports. A Solon police officer had just pulled over a car and was talking with the driver.
That's when a Chevrolet Equinox barreled into the police patrol car. The vehicle then spun unto the roadside and stopped in front of the car that had previously been pulled over.
No one was injured in the crash. The driver of the Equinox was cited for improper operation while approaching a stationary public safety vehicle.
