Do you remember the time you went on that domestic call, found the front door open, heard shouting from inside so you announced yourself and stepped in? It seems like we’ve all done it at some point. Do you remember how pristine, clean and perfect everything was when you stepped through the door? Yes, that’s usually where officers start shaking their heads thinking, “I’ve never been in a house like that on a domestic. Usually it’s a mine field of kids’ toys, empty pizza boxes, broken furniture and miscellaneous other stuff that we I have to avoid tripping over about the same time some bear of a man comes charging out of the kitchen at me.”
