Ohio police apprehended a homicide suspect after he rammed two unmarked SWAT vehicles Wednesday.
The incident happened at about 4:30 p.m. as a Columbus police SWAT unit was following a homicide suspect in a silver Mazda on the interstate, WBNS-TV reports. After nearly an hour, the Mazda rammed two unmarked SWAT vehicles.
Police continued following the suspect, who eventually crashed along an interstate ramp. Officers took the suspect into custody, and a gun was recovered at the scene.
A driver was in the Mazda and was not taken into custody. No one was injured in the incident.
