A Nebraska police officer shot and wounded a woman as he was being dragged by her vehicle Sunday.
The shooting happened as a Neligh police officer was responding to reports of a road rage incident, The Associated Press reports. According to the Nebraska State Patrol, which is investigating the shooting, the incident had led to a disturbance in a convenience store parking lot.
When the officer reached the scene, he stopped one of the vehicles. As he made contact with the driver, she drove off, dragging the officer.
