Unruly Mob Smashes Chicago Police SUV Window, Climbs on Bus

A large crowd gathered in Chicago's Lakeview neighborhood around two hours after police arrested a woman who is accused of stabbing three people during a fight.

An unruly mob smashed the windshield of a Chicago police SUV and vandalized other vehicles and a city bus following a fight and stabbing early Tuesday.

The incident happened at around 1 a.m. in the city's Lakeview neighborhood, WLS-TV reports. Roughly two hours earlier, police arrested a woman accused of stabbing three people during a fight.

As the crowd gathered, video footage captured members of the mob surrounding and climbing on top of a bus, and windows of other vehicles were shattered, including a police SUV. Officers ordered the crowd to disperse, leading some members to argue with police.

Despite the raucous behavior, no arrests were made, and no injuries were reported.
