Loud music on an East Harlem street sparked a wild caught-on-camera melee in which a cop was punched and spat on, police said Wednesday.
The incident happened just before 6 p.m. Tuesday on Madison Ave. near E. 105th St.
Police said that when officers approached Felicia Davis, 32, about loud music blaring from a speaker, she ran off.
When she returned a short time later and tried to retrieve the speaker, cops asked for her identification, which she refused, police said.
As officers tried to take her into custody, another woman, Kimberly Rivera, 33, and a man in a red hoodie stepped in, video shows.
Rivera allegedly spat in an officer’s face and threw several punches. The man in the hoodie sucker-punched an officer before running off, video shows.
The man in the hoodie is still being sought.
Davis and Rivera were charged with resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and obstructing governmental administration.
It wasn’t immediately clear if Davis and Rivera, who live in the same nearby building, know each other.
