Body camera footage captured Ocala police officers springing into action to save a young boy who began choking on his mother's milk at a Golden Corral restaurant.

Body camera footage captured Florida police officers saving a 6-day-old baby who was choking at a restaurant over the weekend.

Ocala police responded to the report of a boy choking on his mother's milk at a Golden Corral restaurant just before 8:30 a.m. Saturday, the department stated in a social media post. By the time officers reached the scene, the baby had started to turn purple.

The first officer on the call grabbed the boy and began patting his back. That caused the baby to begin making a noise and crying.

A second officer patted the baby's back, causing the child to cry more. Eventually, the boy's eyes began to open.

EMS workers treated the child, and the boy was taken to the hospital. He's expected to recover.
