Thousands of Cases of Beer Stolen in Pennsylvania

Over 3,000 cases of beer have been stolen, along with the trailers the products were in, from a distributor in Carlisle.

May 09--A second trailer loaded with beer was noticed stolen in the borough on Monday.

Carlisle police say on Monday at 10 p.m., a white 2004 53' Reefer Trailer was found stolen from Allen Distribution in the 1700 block of Shearer Drive.

The trailer was reportedly loaded with 1,800 cases of Corona beer and was taken between May 4 and 7.

The trailer is registered to Metcalf Trucking, white in color with ME registration 2723447.

A second trailer was noticed stolen at the same time, and was taken from the same lot.

That trailer is a 2001 Great Dane, 53' trailer with a large AD logo on the side and Pa. registration PT8671F, registered to Allen Distribution.

This trailer was also loaded with Corona, with a total of 1,350 cases.
