A Pittsburgh man wanted on a variety of charges in Allegheny County and Ohio was arrested Thursday morning when Allegheny County Sheriff's deputies found him hiding under a pile of clothing in a Hill District apartment, Sheriff William P. Mullen said.
Darson Williams, 37, was wanted in Allegheny County on drug charges, including manufacture and delivery, as well as on a warrant issued by Domestic Relations. He was charged by a grand jury in Jefferson County, Ohio, on charges of shooting at a motorist in a residential neighborhood in December, said Mullen. No one was hurt in the shooting.
Williams, who also was charged with violating terms of his probation on a drug conviction, was found at a house along Bryn Mawr Avenue, the sheriff said.
