A man who was arrested at a Tulsa police station after police found six Molotov cocktails in his car was charged Monday.
Robbin Evan Elsman, 58, of Tulsa faces one count of threatening an act of violence, a felony, a Tulsa County District Court filing shows.
Elsman was arrested Oct. 28 after he entered the Police Department's Riverside Division, 7515 S. Riverside Drive, and said his vehicle, parked outside, contained explosive devices. He made statements indicating that he wanted to burn down the city of Tulsa, police said.
Carlisle said officers went to Elsman's vehicle and found six gasoline-filled containers with wicks attached -- described as Molotov cocktails.
Elsman remains in the Tulsa Jail with bail set at $121,000 on the charge of threatening an act of violence and other complaints.
