Effective Budgeting

This course will teach you how to justify, prepare and manage the budget process. You will learn the various types of budgetary systems used in government and their applications within the law enforcement environment. We will also examine the current economic challenges, possible solutions, and other budgetary issues including manpower allocation, civilianization, retention, recruitment, training, and more. You will take part in individual and group exercises throughout the course.
