Sypherlink, Inc. announced an industry collaboration, “NIEM Saves Lives”, focused on speeding the implementation of nationwide information sharing in support of programs such as the FBI’s National Data Exchange (N-DEx) Initiative. Partners supporting the collaborative approach include leading justice and public safety application vendors Enforsys, New Dawn Technologies, Tiburon, and Xpediter Technology.
The collaboration partners – all leaders in their respective applications for capturing and managing justice and public safety records (such as law enforcement, court and prosecution data) – have embraced Sypherlink’s National Information Exchange Gateway as a NIEM-based data sharing platform for enabling:
- NIEM-compliant access to leading justice and public safety information sources;
- Faster data sharing program adoption; and
- Integration with existing and future user applications.
Sypherlink’s NIE Gateway Harmonizer solution promotes re-usability, flexibility and an “interface once…re-use many” principle.
The “NIEM Saves Lives” campaign is being launched around the 117th Annual Conference and Exposition of the International Association of Chiefs of Police, which takes place this week in Orlando, Florida and draws more than 10,000 sworn officers from around the world.
Other vendors and integration partners are encouraged to join the campaign by visiting Sypherlink’s website at www.sypherlink.com/niemsaves.
