Video: Fiery Van Crash Erupts Outside San Diego Police Station

Police officers worked to put out the flames that engulfed a minivan after it slammed into a tree outside the San Diego Police Department's Mid-City substation.
A minivan burst into flames after it crashed into a San Diego police station Thursday.
The incident happened shortly after 2 a.m. at the San Diego Police Department's Mid-City substation, KSWB-TV reports. Surveillance video captured the minivan erupting in flames after it slammed into a tree outside the station.
Tires popped and a small explosion ripped through the minivan. Officers were seen trying to extinguish the flames before firefighters arrived at the scene.
