When Hillsborough County deputies went to arrest two suspects at a Tampa gas station, the men tried to drive away, but deputies quickly positioned their cruisers to block their escape.

Florida deputies captured a suspected carjacker Monday after using their cruisers to block his vehicle as he tried to flee.

The incident happened when Hillsborough County sheriff's deputies received a tip about a 37-year-old man—identified as Gregory Mcgall—wanted for car theft and a March 21 carjacking, the agency stated in a news release. He was spotted riding in a car driven by a 42-year-old man wanted on active warrants.

When the two stopped at a gas station, deputies moved in to make an arrest. The suspects tried to escape, but deputies quickly used their cruisers to box in their vehicle.

The two suspects were taken into custody, and they face a long list of charges.
