Suspects Damage Tenn. Police Cruiser after Shooting at Officers

No Memphis police officers were injured, but a squad car was damaged when suspects fired at police through a car's missing rear window before fleeing.

A Tennessee police cruiser was damaged when shots were fired at officers Sunday.

The shooting involved Memphis police while officers were at an intersection, WREG-TV reports. Shots were fired at police, damaging a squad car but leaving the officers uninjured.

Police pursed suspects driving a silver car with no tags, a missing rear window and a green towel covering a back passenger window. Investigators claim the suspects, who eluded police, fired at officers through the missing rear window.
