Arizona police officers needed to use a "grappler" to stop a driver accused of speeding through a neighborhood and firing gunshots.

The incident happened Tuesday as Tre-Shawn Dorsett was driving a black Dodge Charger through a Mesa neighborhood while yelling at residents and taking several shots at a home, KNXV-TV reports. Once police arrived at the scene, Dorsett fled.

The chase ended up in Phoenix, where a grappler was finally used to stop Dorsett. A tether was deployed from a cruiser, and it attached itself to the moving car's tire.

Dorsett was charged with discharging a firearm in city limits.
