Task force members were able to locate the suspect, allowing a DPS sergeant to come up behind the vehicle. In footage from the sergeant's dashboard camera, the trooper is seen deploying a Grappler Police Bumper, which latched on to one of the vehicle’s rear tires and brought it to a safe stop.
Police detained the driver and passenger—both 17-year-old boys—and they were cited for street racing.
