A hit-and-run driver struck down a bicyclist in the Bronx, then crashed into the back of an NYPD vehicle in a failed attempt to flee Tuesday night, police said.

The cyclist was riding on Webster Ave. near E. Gun Hill Road in Norwood just after 9 p.m. when he was struck by a white Nissan Altima, cops said.

The driver, who had two passengers in the vehicle, fled the scene, only to rear-end an NYPD SUV further along Webster Ave.

Police took all three of the Nissan’s occupants into custody. Charges against them were pending.

Medics took the cyclist to Jacobi Medical Center in critical condition.
