Md. Police Car Window Struck by Gunfire During Call

    Anne Arundel County police were responding to reports of an armed suspect in the Cape St. Claire area when shots were fired.

    An Anne Arundel police officer's window was shot while responding to a report of an armed subject in the Cape St. Claire area.

    The suspect is at large and no injuries have been reported. Jackie Davis, spokesperson for county police, said the shots were in the area of Hilltop Road and Blue Ridge Drive.

    Cape St. Claire Elementary and Broadneck High School are sheltering in place, according to the Anne Arundel Public Schools officials.
