    La Boit Inc. designed and built a 26-foot mobile command unit for the City of Ann Arbor (Michigan) Police Department. This specialty vehicle will primarily be used by the Safety Service Area (police and fire). However, in emergency situations it can also be used by other city service departments including forestry, public works, water department, etc. A 2004 State Homeland Security Grant Program made the purchase of this mobile unit possible.
