Rogers, AR - Assembled Products™ Corporation marks four decades of success with an historical look back, taking place at the Metroplex Event Center on August 30, 2023.
Our story begins in 1983, when the first Mart Cart™ was built in a Rogers, Arkansas garage. The first mobility scooter specially designed for commercial shopping use was first sold to Chester’s Market in Connecticut. This initial purchase by a visionary grocer paved the way for shopping independence for those with limited mobility. This also marked the beginning of Assembled Products Corporation, who has for 40 years been a Northwest Arkansas company dedicated to “Products That Make Life Better.” Mr. Bill Sage developed the Mart Cart™ to assist an elderly family member remain active and able to shop for groceries. "What began with one motorized shopping cart has turned into four decades of manufacturing excellence and innovation," said APC President and CEO Erin Kiefer. "This 40-year mark isn't just about the products we've built and sold. It's also about thanking the Lord for what He’s brought us through, applauding more than 140 employees who have helped build us and who will take us into our future as we continue to develop products and services for our many customers."
Assembled Products Corporation now consists of three separate brands that make up the company. Mart Cart™ started it with the electronic shopping cart, Spray Master™ Technologies followed with the first central pressure washer system and then Jotto Desk™ developed everything needed to outfit a law enforcement patrol vehicle. Our amazing employees representing all three brands unite as a family under the common flag of Assembled Products Corporation as they make a daily effort to meet and exceed our customers’ expectations.
This historical retrospective and celebration will take place from 1:30-3:30 PM on Wednesday, August 30th at the Metroplex Event Center on 8th Street in Rogers, AR. Light hors d'oeuvres and drinks will be provided. View historical displays, mingle with past and current employees, and experience state-of-the-art technology from 1983.
