A Michigan State Police trooper was conducting a traffic stop in Berrien County when a man accused of driving under the influence veered off the road and crashed into the trooper's cruiser.

A suspected impaired driver crashed into a Michigan State Police cruiser with its emergency lights on during a traffic stop in Berrien County on Saturday.
The trooper was outside the vehicle when the driver from Missouri veered off the road and crashed into the patrol car.
No one was injured in the incident, which marks the second state police cruiser crash in the 5th District within a week.

BERRIEN COUNTY, MI—Video shows a vehicle crash into a state police patrol car, with its lights flashing, during a traffic stop on I-94.
“This incident could have been a devastating tragedy for everyone involved, including the trooper,” state police said on X.
No one was injured in the crash.
It happened around 11:10 p.m. Saturday, June 7, on westbound I-94 in Berrien County’s Lincoln Township.
A state police trooper was outside of a patrol car during a traffic stop when a 33-year-old Missouri man, driving west on I-94, veered off the road and crashed into the state police car, police said.
The crash was captured on in-car video by a state police trooper who was behind the Missouri man’s vehicle.
Preliminary investigation showed that the man was under the influence of drugs, police said.
He was arrested and taken to the Berrien County Jail.
“This marks the second crash involving a MSP patrol vehicle in the (Fifth) district, spanning about a week apart, highlighting the dangers officers face during routine traffic stops. Thankfully, there were no report of any injuries,” state police said.
