Training Restraints from ASP Inc. feature the exact same design, materials and construction as the standard Ultra Cuffs, but with a special lock set that disengages when subjected to back pressure—so the cuffs open with just a roll of the training subject’s wrists. This facilitates 100% “real-world” training, with the added speed, safety and efficiency of keyless release (key is only required if cuffs are double locked).

ASP’s exclusive Ultra Cuffs represent the most significant advances in restraint design in more than a century. These handcuffs were designed, tested, revised, re-tested and perfected in the field, with input from officers and tactical instructors around the world. The result is a restraint system with materials, construction and a feature set that simply can’t be found in any other handcuffs. To see all the details about Ultra Cuff’s class-leading technology and features, click on any of the models in our Chain, Hinge or Rigid restraint categories.

We recommend adding our specially-formulated Glide Baton and Cuff Lubricant to your order, to keep your gear in peak operating condition.

Three-dimensional targets are a critical part of training for dynamic shooting situations. Lindsey uses Birchwood Casey 3D Torso Targets. These are molded relief targets made of recycled material. They are as light as cardboard, and have enough structural integrity to hold up to a lot of hits. These targets are 21.5' H X 14' W X 4.7' D, and very cost effective.
