    EDGE allows first responders from various disciplines to collaboratively participate in complex emergency response scenarios in a virtual environment, improving coordination and communication while training responders to help mitigate injuries and loss of life.  Based on input received from the first responder community, the platform being demonstrated will feature an active shooter response.  Sacramento law enforcement, emergency medical services, fire, unified command, and dispatch will all participate in the training and demonstration event.
