Mechanix Wear Adds Mark Rolfes from Pelican as Director of Global Sales

Mechanix Wear Inc. today announced the addition of Mark Rolfes as the company’s Director of Global Sales. In this role, Mark will lead Mechanix Wear’s international sales team.

VALENCIA, California – March 6th, 2017 – Mechanix Wear Inc. today announced the addition of Mark Rolfes as the company’s Director of Global Sales. In this role, Mark will lead Mechanix Wear’s international sales team as it expands its renowned automotive, tactical and industrial glove lines into new markets and territories to reach new customers and grow the company’s global market share.

“Mechanix Wear is poised to expand its global handprint and we’re excited to have Mark lead the charge,” said Michael Hale, CEO of Mechanix Wear. “Mark’s expertise in our industry and his proven leadership skills will be great assets as he leads our Mechanix Wear sales team.”

Mark brings more than 25 years of strategic marketing and executive sales management experience to his new position. Previously, Mark served as Pelican Products' Vice President of U.S. Sales where he built a track record of rapid sales growth and extensive business development. He led the sales team to record breaking profits each year he was with the company.

Prior to his career at Pelican, Mark served as a National Sales Manager for The Bata Footwear Company, a leading manufacturer of industrial and chemical protective footwear. At Bata Footwear, Mark worked in product development and secured accounts with major hardware and safety equipment suppliers, including W.W. Grainger and Home Depot among others in a variety of markets. 

Mark is a native of Baltimore, Maryland and received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Towson University. He sits on the Board of the Los Angeles Fire Department Foundation.
