HINSDALE, Mass. -- Two police officers and a civilian were shot during an “isolated incident” in Hinsdale Wednesday morning, according to the Berkshire County District Attorney’s Office.

The incident, which happened around 11 a.m., left the two officers with non-life-threatening gunshot wounds, the district attorney’s office said. The civilian is in critical condition.

“There is no threat to public safety,” the district attorney’s office wrote.

The Berkshire County District Attorney’s Office is investigating the incident, and said it would share further information in the future. No additional information was immediately available Wednesday afternoon.
