FBI Warns Police of 'Halloween Revolt' Threat
The Federal Bureau of Investigation on Monday sent out a nationwide alert to police departments about an anarchist group that plans to ambush officers on Halloween.
The FBI bulletin warns that the National Liberation Militia has proposed a "Halloween Revolt" that encourages its supporters to cause disturbances to attract police in order to attack them, according to The New York Post.
The group has told its members wear common Halloween masks and use weapons such as bricks, bottles and firearms to ambush officers, the bulletin reads.
The NYPD Intelligence Bureau is currently monitoring the threat.
