The Taction Professional Blacklight Flashlight is lightweight and durable, so it can stand up to any scene. Made with sturdy materials with its all metal body, and carefully monitored for quality. This light is the perfect size, small enough to carry on your person or in your kit. It will fit in the palm of your hand, but is powerful enough to handle any scene you need. With a telescoping lens it can focus the light to a more narrow beam or a wider path, depending on your needs on scene. When you're looking at UV-A blacklights, you may come across two specifications - 365 nm or 395 nm. The main difference is that a 395 nm LED emits much more visible light than the 365 nm LED. The 395 nm LED emits a pronounced violet-colored light, while the 365 nm LED emits a dull, bluish-white light. Both types emit in the UV-A wavelength range and are capable of producing "blacklight"- however the 395 nm is generally preferred by most actual practitioners in the field. Hence why we chose to make ours with the 395 nm LED. Fluoresce potential evidence on scenes that you might otherwise miss without the aid of an alternate light source (ALS). Takes a single AA battery (not included). Simply unscrew the button area and insert it and you’re ready to go!
