Fenix PD35 TAC LED Tactical Flashlight - Blaze Battleworn Cerakote Finish

Aug. 30, 2019

The Blaze Battleworn cerakote finish is the latest design for the Fenix PD35. The custom coloring is inspired by the Brothers in Arms Tulsa and is meant to capture the aesthetics and functionality of a military-grade tactical flashlight. The custom layering provides a sleek design and increased protection. This cerakote elite series 1000 Lumen flashlight is of the quality of law enforcement gear from officers all over the world. Available for a limited time only, make sure to pick one up before they are gone.

The PD35 features a Cree XP-L(V5) LED with a tested lifespan of 50,000 hours. The new XP-L LED provides an almost 260% performance boost from older LED models. The PD35 has two main lighting modes, tactical and outdoors. Tactical mode produces a bright concentrated beam that is meant for high and directed visibility while the outdoor mode is a wider floodlight-style beam that is meant for illuminating spaces The Outdoor mode has 6 different beam settings: Turbo (1000 Lumens), High (500 Lumens), Mid (200 Lumens), Low (60 Lumens), Eco (8 Lumens, and a strobe setting (1000 Lumens). The tactical mode features three different lighting channels Turbo (1000 Lumens), Low (60 Lumens) and strobe effect (1000 Lumens). The tactical mode is operated by a momentary-on tail switch that can be held on by depressing the button and turned off by letting go, perfect for quickly analyzing a landscape. Outdoor mode channels can be switched between by the stainless steel side switch.

Like its smaller cousin the PD25, the PD35 features a smart digital output regulator that scales light intensity depending on the amount of battery charge left. A low voltage indicator blinks twice to signal when the battery charge is low. Intelligent memory circuits also record the last LED setting that was used and recall it when the device is turned back on. Lastly, anti-polarity protectors prevent reverse current, so you don't have to worry about damaging the flashlight if you mix up your leads and accidentally put the batteries in backward.

As with any competent law enforcement-grade flashlight, the PD35 is exceedingly tough and durable. The external casing is made from an extremely durable aircraft-grade aluminum and is designed to disperse heat along the 5.4-inch shaft evenly and is shaped so that it will not roll or slip when placed on surfaces. It is IPX-8 waterproof rated and can operate normally under 6 feet of water for up to 30 minutes. The casing can hold either a Fenix Li-ion rechargeable 18650 battery or two CR123A batteries. That way, you can always use regular batteries when there is no power source nearby to charge. The PD35 is capable of continuous use for 90 minutes on the Turbo setting and can operate for up to 140 hours on the lowest beam setting.

Lastly, are the accessories. The PD35 comes with a pocket clip, holster, lanyard carrying ring, spar O-rings and a spar rubber boot. If you are looking for a heavy-duty flashlight fit for an officer of law enforcement, then look no further; the PD35 is the choice for you.
