Okla. Deputy Shot During Chase; Armed Suspect on the Loose

During a chase in Wynnewood, a Cleveland County sheriff's deputy was wounded and another person was killed in a shooting that has authorities searching for the suspect.

An Oklahoma deputy was shot and wounded Wednesday while pursuing a suspect, who is on the loose. 

The shooting happened in Wynnewood during a chase in Garvin County with a Cleveland County sheriff's deputy, KWTV-TV reports. No details have been released concerning what led to the pursuit, and another person was killed during the person. The fatally shot individual was not identified, and it's unclear what led to the fatal shooting.

The wounded officer was airlifted to the hospital. He is in stable and good condition, according to the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation, KOCO-TV reports.

A manhunt is centered around Kameron Jenkins, who is considered armed and dangerous. Jenkins, 25, was released from prison in March.
