Rochester, NY - LaserMax and Ruger have agreed on an OEM partnership to equip the Ruger® LC9s® with LaserMax’s new GripSense™ Activation Technology. GripSense will allow LC9s users to choose their method of light and laser activation, providing improved target acquisition, safety and efficiency. Ruger’s new LC9s comes factory-installed with a GripSense activated 650 nm red laser and 100 lumen white light combination.
GripSense Activation Technology uses an innovative detection zone to sense the user’s grip on the firearm and instantly activate. This activation method allows users to maintain a natural hand position when firing and frees the user from having to press a button for activation, allowing for increased safety and comfort.
