Brownells now offers Enidine AR-RESTOR buffers for shooters of AR-15-style rifles who want to curb felt recoil, improve accuracy and reduce muzzle rise. Available for both fixed and collapsible buttstocks, the AR-RESTOR installs in minutes, without any gunsmithing or modifications to the rifle. The buffers are designed to replace the standard inertia mass-type buffers featured in most AR-15s. Each AR-RESTOR is assembled from a sealed hydraulic cylinder, high-impact striker cap and nickel-plated cylinder rod. Each component works together with the rifle's factory recoil spring to lessen recoil and rise. Tested by the U.S. Army, the AR-RESTOR buffers were proven to drop cyclic rates from 900 rounds per minute to as low as 650 rounds per minute.
