Police Provide Cover Story When Boy's 'Elf on the Shelf' is Stolen

Police made sure a little boy's holiday fun wouldn't be ruined when his 'Elf on the Shelf' was stolen. Lorraine Villahermosa says the elf was in her purse which was taken from her home. Her son, 8-year-old Jovani, looks forward to what kind of trouble the elf will get into every year. There was some good news when she found out her purse was recovered, but local police in Virginia weren't going to be able to retrieve it from an evidence locker for a few days.
