A Milwaukee police officer was injured when he was pinned between his undercover vehicle and a car in a Glendale hotel parking lot while trying to arrest a man wanted on three arrest warrants.

Body camera footage showed a frantic incident as a Milwaukee police officer was pinned between two vehicles while trying to make an arrest.

In recently released body camera footage of the Aug. 25, Milwaukee police in an undercover vehicle were looking for a 19-year-old man—Ramon Trujillowanted on three arrest warrants when they located his vehicle in a hotel parking lot in Glendale, WISN-TV reports. When police saw Trujillo and two others walking toward the car, officers tried to arrest him.

As police moved in, the 20-year-old driver in the car—identified as Timothy Jinor-Riley—rammed the vehicle into an officer, pinning him between the car and the undercover vehicle. The officer opened fire, and both Trujillo and Jinor-Riley were struck.

The suspect kept driving, but officers in a marked vehicle stopped and arrested the two. A third person in the vehicle also was arrested.

The pinned police officer, 31, was taken to the hospital, and he's expected to recover from his injuries.
