A man accused of causing a disruption at a smoke shop was arrested last week when he threatened a Florida police officer and threw a piece of lunch meat at him.
The curious case of a cold cuts confrontation was captured on the body camera of a Port Orange police officer who responded to a May 9 call concerning a man—identified as William Busi—threatening employees at a smoke shop and disrupting business, WFLA-TV reports. When the officer spoke with an employee, she asked for the man to be removed.
Outside the business, Busi spoke with the officer and asked about suing the police department and sheriff's office. The officer then told Busi he was no longer allowed at the store.
That angered Busi, who began threatening the officer.
“Come on, (expletive)!" he's heard yelling in the body camera footage. "You think I can’t do it? I got a black belt in karate and a black belt in judo. You’re gonna be in a world of hurt."
Busi then threw a piece of lunch meat at the officer, hitting him in the chest. The officer immediately arrested the man, and he was charged with battery on a law enforcement officer.
