Watch Ark. Police Pull Man from Ledge of Parking Garage

Arkansas police officers likely saved the life of a man who was dangling over the edge of a parking structure last week.

Body camera footage, which was released Friday, shows Little Rock police officers responding to a "rescue jumper" call at a parking garage, according to the department. When they reached the scene, the officers found a man sitting on the ledge, his feet over the edge.

Officers had prior knowledge of the man and knew he was hearing impaired. They calmly spoke to him until finally, one of the officers quickly grabbed the man and pulled him to safety.

The man was taken to a crisis stabilization unit. No injuries were reported.
